The Investigator acknowledges the collaborative community that contributed to the realization of The Glasses, the collection of preliminary observational data, the establishment of the study's operational framework, and the evolution of the ethos that has driven THE EXPERIMENT since its inception in 2017.

Experiment Design | Italy
Evaluation of the research concept, guidance for Phase I's crowdsourced data collection strategy, and preparation of a formal research plan for Phase II were conducted by an independent laboratory in Italy.

Research and Development | California
The Standards are rigorous requirements set forth by The Investigator for operation and material production of project Δ. Their research and development was supported by student environmental and industrial scientists at the University of California San Diego.

Sourcing | International
Expertise, coordination, and production oversight required to meet The Standards in the creation of The Glasses were provided by a dedicated sourcing consultant, without whom their realization would have been infeasible. The Investigator thanks the vintage collectors in Italy and the United Kingdom who salvaged, refurbished, and authenticated new old stock vintage designer frames selected for The Glasses.

Optical Engineering | Italy
The tint and lenses were engineered by ZEISS. The Investigator is grateful to the Research and Development team for their time, patience, samples, and belief in THE EXPERIMENT through the multi-year effort required to determine the color of rose, and to ZEISS for providing a lens that fulfilled The Standards while delivering an outstanding visual experience. Special thanks to the ZEISS representative who coordinated the process and facilitated the factory visit in Italy.

Photo documentation of The Investigator on the expedition to meet ZEISS and collect frames was captured by Hedoniya Production. Cinematography during a critical research period for the development of The Standards was supported by a student filmmaker at Point Loma University.

Assembly, Fabrication, and Logistics | California
The independent optical team refashioned The Glasses with ROSEYS™ lenses, provided final adjustments to the vintage frames, and shared insights instrumental in completing The Standards.

The protective pouch was developed through an iterative process with SewCal Company and Great Threadz Embroidery to navigate the production challenges of upcycled materials. Deadstock fabrics were provided by RagFinders in Los Angeles; hemp canvas off-cuts were donated by FARO surfboard bags in San Diego.

Tag paper was recycled and handmade by Greenfield Paper Company. Carbon negative Algae Ink was provided by Living Ink Technologies for the Participation Package. Many thanks to the fulfillment warehouse for accommodating the unique needs of the project.

Operations and Institutional Support | California
Operational and strategic planning were refined under the guidance of industry expert mentors in the San Diego Sport Innovators' accelerator program. Design insight was provided by a consultant, funded by a grant from the California Manufacturers Accelerator.

Outreach and Visual Design | International
Strategic mentorship in customer experience and business consulting established the foundational framework for Δ development, shaping partnerships that enabled The Investigator to pursue global reach while achieving The Standards. Digital development and visual design were provided by an international team of creators and developers. Methodologies for outreach, Participant recruitment, and creative definition were developed with student strategists from the University of California San Diego, Berkeley, San Marcos, and Point Loma University.

Field Research and Validation | International
Collaborators, observers, and distributors supported exploratory α and β tests throughout North and South America and generated observational data that initiated the creation of THE EXPERIMENT. Their participation shaped the methodology that defines the study today.

Advisory Network | California
Guidance, support, and feedback were contributed by a dedicated network of mentors, coaches, consultants, interns, and peers across specialties since the early phases of development.

Artificial Intelligence
THE EXPERIMENT was brought to fruition with a fleet of AI systems during an unexpected transcontinental relocation in the lead up to the global launch.
